SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical-pharmaceutical industry, namely to creation of herbal preparations for treatment and prevention of thyroid gland diseases. Herbal preparation for treatment and prevention of thyroid gland diseases represents mixture, consisting of white cinquefoil, liquorice, Herba Bidentis and thallus of sugar wrack with the following component ratio -20:5:8:7 respectively, it contains roots and rhizomes of white cinquefoil, or land part of white cinquefoil, or their mixture and can be made in form of crushed herbal powder, water-alcohol tinctures, liquid or dry extracts.
EFFECT: preparation has wide spectrum of therapeutic influence, it is used for treatment and prevention of thyroid gland diseases, including hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism (Graves' disease, toxic nodular goiter), euthyroid goiter, autoimmune thyroiditis.
