FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying onto woven casing waterproofing layer made in the form of internal enclosure of styrene-butadiene thermoelastic plastic by grinding, granulating and extruding with the use of extruder forming head at temperature of 120-130 C at the rate of 900-1,000 m/hour; drawing internal enclosure delivered from extruder into woven casing of fire hose on tape-transport mechanism and curing on steam pipe for 5-10 min. Method allows time for manufacture of running meter of fire hose to be reduced and production costs to be decreased by using low cost material for manufacture of internal enclosure and low cost equipment for manufacture of fire hose. EFFECT: increased efficiency, convenient use by reduced weight of fire hose, increased frost resistance and prolonged service life. 1 dwg, 2 tbl
