FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: locking-discharging apparatus has casing made in the form of variable-section cylindrical tube with slots in its side surface and nozzle. Obturator with cylindrical part is rigidly fixed in casing. Nozzle is fixed by shear pins so as to allow obturator to be inserted into nozzle. Gap is defined between end surface of nozzle upper part and obturator base. According to another embodiment, said apparatus has casing made in the form of cylindrical sleeve with slots, nozzle, shear pins, obturator with axially aligned opening, and tube. Lower part of obturator is tightly inserted into upper part of nozzle. Gap is defined between end surface of nozzle upper part and obturator base. When pressure in module increases, gas is directed into casing through slots and is further delivered into gap. Under the action of pressure, pins are sheared to cause obturator to move upward axially of casing. As a result, gas in upper part of casing is compressed and urged through obturator opening and tube into reduced pressure zone. Displacement of obturator from nozzle upper part results in module depressurization and delivery of fire-extinguishing powder through slots into fire zone. EFFECT: increased fire-extinguishing capacity by reduced gas-dynamic losses of gas-and-powder mixture. 15 cl, 4 dwg
