FIELD: fire fighting equipment, in particular, equipment used at negative environmental temperatures under northern latitude conditions.

SUBSTANCE: snow blasting apparatus has casing equipped with nozzle channel adapted for connection with fire hose, and screw mounted within casing and equipped with drive. Casing is divided into receiving chamber and transportation chamber. Pneumatic drive is positioned in interface plane of said chambers. Receiving and transporting links of screw are positioned within pneumatic drive. Transportation chamber is made conical and provided with perforated wall and outer enclosure of collector, said enclosure being disposed in parallel with perforated wall for feeding of air to perforations. Receiving chamber is provided with movable protective grid urged to vibrate by means of pneumatic vibrator mounted on upper surface of receiving chamber, and with tubular triangular member equipped with apertures on its rear side. Wheeled chassis, manual control levers and air distributing box are positioned on transportation chamber. Snow blasting apparatus of such construction may be used for eliminating of ignition under restricted water and fire extinguishing foam conditions.

EFFECT: wider operational capabilities of fire fighting equipment, enhanced reliability in operation and improved safety of fire extinguishing process under low temperature conditions, and also reduced operating costs.
