FIELD: rolling mills, namely processes and apparatuses for controlling convexity degree of rolled pieces. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of controlling convexity degree of steel strip rolled in rolling mill due to continuous rotary setting of shaft in response to control signal corresponding to profile of convexity degree of made product or fluctuation of said profile. Shaft is provided with row of eccentric rings mounted on it, bearing assemblies surrounding those rings and sleeve (solid or separated by portions) arranged around rings. When sleeve is separated one, intermediate roll is used. EFFECT: possibility for controlling planeness of rolled stock by means of simple and easy-to-realize system. 18 cl, 5 dwg _
