SUBSTANCE: rolling mill spindle toothed coupling comprises a spindle shaft, a toothed cage, a toothed coupling and a sealing assembly representing a sleeve with inner tapered and outer cylindrical surfaces mating, via sealing cords, with the sleeve and cage end face cover. A cage centering device is arranged between the sealing assembly and the cooling teeth to align the said cage relative to the said sleeve, the aforesaid device representing two rings mating along the spherical surfaces and fixed on the sleeve outer surface and the end face cover inner surface.

EFFECT: higher wear resistance of engagement, longer life of toothed couplings and spindles, higher rolling mill efficiency and accuracy.
