FIELD: aircraft instrumentation engineering; check of mass of fuel in each fuel tank. SUBSTANCE: proposed system is used for determination of present fuel parameters by means of sensors: level, temperature and characteristic parameters (dielectric permeability and light absorption) in each fuel tank. Level of fuel is measured in at least three points not lying on one straight line. Volume of fuel is determined by its level by means of on-board computer with geometric characteristics of tank taken into account. Density of fuel is determined by its grade or mixture of grades and temperature in fuel parameter driver included in on0board computer. Mass of fuel is determined by its density and volume calculated in calculator included in on-board computer and in mass calculator also included in on-board computer. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of determination of fuel mass at temperature and grade spread. 1 dwg
