URALSY FILTER FOR PURIFICATION OF DRINKABLE WATER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: sanitary engineering, particularly, filters for drinkable water purification, and applicable also in other fields of engineering. SUBSTANCE: filter casing is filled with filter medium from various natural minerals forming purification stages. Each stage fulfils function of purification from definite impurity. The first stage is provided in form of plate and installed inside cover packing ring. Plate internal surface is conjugated with the second stage filled with grainy material. The third stage is separated into two parts and made in form of package comprised of conjugated rods with through axial hole and through radial holes. Rods of parts of the third stage are oriented mutually perpendicular. The fourth stage is filled with grainy material whose volume exceeds that of material of the third stage. The fifth stage is made in form of plate and located on grate installed on casing bottom. Purification stages are located along casing axis, conjugated with one another by separating spacer, and rigidly fixed in filter casing. EFFECT: improved quality of water purification, increased service life of filter medium and filter itself. 6 cl, 3 dwg
