FIELD: treatment plants.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises of a water tank, exchangeable filter cartridges with filter material, thickened element for strengthening the filter cartridge and a lid. Body is supplied with a handle, protrusion for pouring, thickened element, which prevents sliding of the bottom of the container body. Mounting place of the cartridge is made with a hole to pour filtered water, placed at a height, enough for preserving part of the filtered water, preventing drying of the filter medium. Lid is made with a protrusion along the contour for fixing position, with a protruding holder, adjacent to the arm for holding the water container, made in the form of a jug, with a movable lid for pouring, with a metre, keeping track of the date of change of the used filter cartridge. Water container is made from transparent material with a scale for measuring the volume. Metre is a clock-face with numbers, installed on the lid. Cartridge contains a body, filter material, net and a filter piece. Filter material for the exchangeable filter cartridge contains a composition from activated charcoal from coconut shells or apricot kernel shells, ion-exchange resin, bacteriostatic additives.
