SUBSTANCE: invention relates to macroincapsulation of secretory cells and to method of treatment of patients with diseases caused by disturbance of function of secretory cells. Macrogranule with secretory cells, in part with pancreatic islands, is formed from agarose and cover prepared of agarose. Isolated secretory cells are suspended onto agarose in an antibiotic medium, formed macrogranule is incubated in wetted atmosphere containing carbon dioxide and covered with agarose by its dipping in mineral oil. For treatment of patients with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus prepared macrogranules containing effective amount of secretory cells are implanted to patient. Invention provides functionality and non-immunity of macrogranule that is retained after transplantation for a long time.
