FIELD: metallurgy of alloys based on aluminum, particularly, alloys of system Al-Li-Mg-Be used as structural materials for panels, stringers and other parts in aerospace engineering, shipbuilding and land-based transport engineering, including also welded structures. SUBSTANCE: offered alloy and product made of it have the following chemical composition, wt.%: lithium 1.5-3.0; magnesium 1.5-2.5; beryllium 1.5-4.5; copper 0.2-0.7; zirconium 0.05-0.3; iron 0.01-0.1; nickel 0.01-0.1; at least one element from group including: niobium 0.01-0.2; scandium 0.01-0.3; tantalum 0.001-0.01; the balance, aluminum. Technical result of invention is possibility of use of claimed alloy in structures of aviation engineering, improvement of reliability and increased service life under general climatic conditions with consideration of prolonged effect of sun rays and sea climate.
