FIELD: electrical and power engineering; transformer manufacture. SUBSTANCE: transformer has magnetic core formed by n > 2 split spiral cores radially disposed relative to windings they carry. Magnetic core is enclosed by brace that braces both halves of each core in axial and radial directions and by shroud that prevents displacement of cores in tangential direction. Bevels on outer side of cores make it possible to increase winding port space factor for steel and to reduce copper consumption. EFFECT: reduced iron and copper consumption, facilitated manufacture, reduced noise and vibrations. 3 cl, 5 dwg
