FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: group of inventions developed on single invention principle refers to method of search for multibeam wide-band signal and device for its realization, to process of detection and evaluation of size of cluster beam signals and unit for its realization and can be used in cellular radio communication systems with code-division multiple access ( CDMA ). Technical result of this group of inventions lies in improvement of characteristics of search for multibeam wide-band signal which is achieved thanks to detection and simultaneous processing of components of cluster of multibeam signal and singular beam signals. Advantage of proposed method of search for multibeam signal consists in improvement of characteristics of search that is attained due to execution of correction of phase of each component of received multibeam signal, in detection and simultaneous processing of components of cluster of beam signals. Device for realization of method of search for multibeam signal has antenna, receiver, reference signal former, correlation unit, unit detecting isolated beam signals, control unit, unit for comparison with threshold, first and second on-line storages, unit extracting groups of complex values of cross correlation, phase correction unit, unit detecting and evaluating size of cluster of beam signals. Salient feature of proposed process of detection and evaluation of size of cluster of beam signals lies in summing of components of cluster of multibeam signal in sliding window, in computation of relations of moduli of obtained sums to threshold and selection of maximal relation. Size of cluster and its time position are determined by size and position of sliding window corresponding to this maximal value. Unit detecting and evaluating size of cluster of beam signals includes first and second on-line storages, integrator, unit computing moduli of complex values of cross correlation to values of threshold, unit of maximum selection, control unit, threshold computing unit, first and second registers, first and second adders.
