FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: root harvesting machine has digging share, separating working tools, and tilt boards. Separating working tools are made as combination of main rod-type separating elevator and oscillating separating screen. Rod-type trays with sides are positioned under and behind screen at half width thereof so as to regulate rolling angle of soil crumbles and tubers. Tilt shields-baffles are positioned under separating screen and behind it, opposite to trays. Inclination angle of tilt shields-baffles may be regulated. EFFECT: improved quality of harvesting process, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
