SUBSTANCE: combine harvester contains the undercutting share (3), the separating rod conveyors (4 and 5), the lump-crushing drums. In the front part of the combine harvester on a frame (1), disc cutters (2) are installed, arranged in the row spacings of root and tuber crops. The diameters of the cutters (2) are taken from the condition of cutting the furrow slice in the vertical plane to the depth of placement of the root and tuber crops. The undercutting share (3) is interfaced with the lower rod conveyor (4) having the motion speed V₁ and hinged on the frame of the combine harvester. An upper conveyor (5) with the function of a lump-crushing drum is installed above the lower rod conveyor (4). The motion speed of the upper conveyor (5) V₂ is less than the motion speed V₁. The undercutting share (3) is carried out by the parabola equation y = -x², where y is the share length, and x is the share width. The disk cutters (2) are made spherical. The outer edge of the front part of the spherical disk is made tangent to the combine movement direction, and the rear part of the spherical disk is interfaced with the base of the parabolic undercutting share. The angle between the rotation plane of the disk and the motion direction according to the experimental data is equal to 5… 10°. The disks are mounted on the cranked axle serving as the upper conveyor axis. On the chain of the upper conveyor (5), lump-crushing rollers (10) having the toothed surface made of an resilient-elastic wear-resistant material are mounted.

EFFECT: reducing the draft resistance, the complete separation of roots and tubers from the soil, increased harvesting productivity.
