FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves showing two luminous impulses of given duration equal to 50 ms separated with a pause equal to 150 ms repeating after constant time interval of 1.5 s. Pause duration is reduced at a rate of 20 m/s at the first stage until the testee determines the moment of complete fusion of two luminous impulses into one. Pause duration is increased at a rate of 5 m/s at the second stage until the testee determines the moment of subjective feeling of two separate luminous impulses. Pause duration is reduced at a rate of 2 m/s at the third stage until the testee determines the moment of subjective feeling of two separate luminous impulses fusing into single one. The human vision information perception time is taken to be equal to sum of luminous impulse duration and pause duration between two luminous impulses at the moment of their subjective fusion into a single impulse determined at the third stage. EFFECT: high accuracy of measurements. 4 dwg
