FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and medical equipment. Tested person is shown sequence of paired light pulses with duration 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220 and 240 msec, separated with inter-pulse interval;, equal 150 msec, repeating with constant time interval 1 sec. For each duration of light pulses, at the first stage of measurements duration of inter-pulse interval is constantly reduced with rate 10 msec/sec, until tested person determines moment of subjective merging of two pulses in pair into one. At the second stage of measurements duration of inter-pulse interval is increased in discreet way with constant step 0.5 sec, until tested person determines moment of subjective sensation of separateness of two light pulses in pair. At the third stage of measurements duration of inter-pulse interval is reduced in discreet way with constant step 0.1 msec, until tested person determines moment of subjective merging of two pulses in pair into one. Duration of inter-pulse interval between light pulses in pair at present moment of time is taken for threshold duration of inter-pulse interval tth. After that graph of function tth = f(τimp), where τimp-duration of light pulse, point where graph reaches a plateau is found, time when disguise stats influencing light pulses perception is taken equal to value of threshold inter-pulse interval in point where graph reaches a plateau.
EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for disguise investigation.
