FIELD: technology testing adhesive stability of chemical reagents-corrosion inhibitors on surface of metal, various branches of industry including oil industry. SUBSTANCE: specimen of metal is placed in flow electrochemical system. Specimen is brought to contact with liquid corrosion-active medium-aqueous solution of electrolyte by formation and maintenance of time-constant flow through its electrochemical system. Stationarity of process of formation on surface of metal of ion-hydrate layer characterizing adhesive molecular capacitance is awaited, corrosion inhibitors are injected into it and their adhesive properties are established by intensity of processes of output of electroactive components of ion-hydrate layer to free phase electrochemically coupled to processes of its destruction with adhesion of corrosion inhibitors on surface of metal. Thereupon flow of initial aqueous solution of electrolyte through electrochemical system is restored and adhesive stability of corrosion inhibitors on surface of metal is established by intensity and degree of restoration of ion-hydrate layer with its second formation in process of removal of corrosion inhibitors from surface of metal by electroactive components of ion-hydrate layer.
