FIELD: extended-spectrum communication systems. SUBSTANCE: broadband direct-sequence-code transmitter is proposed for code-division multiple-access communication system wherein symbolic information related to special/common channels and channels related to identification is expanded for generating intermediate signals corresponding to special/common channels and channels related to identification. Intermediate signals related to special/common channels are summed up for generating output signal which is scrambled by scrambling code. Intermediate signals related to identification are randomly added to scrambled output signal to obtain downlink signal for multichannel data transmission shared use of same data transmission frequency. EFFECT: enhanced throughput capacity. 18 cl, 3 dwg
