SUBSTANCE: signal is transmitted in wide spectrum including search for cell executed by mobile station and long code is produced for particular cell used in communication system within wide spectrum where each transmission frame related to synchronization code transmission is divided into plurality of segments. Each segment includes primary (pilot) code and secondary code combination including information identifying or indicating both frame synchronization and cipher code for synchronization. This information related to frame synchronization can be encoded in code combination and also in terms of modulation of plurality of code combination sequences in frame. As an alternative this information is encoded in sequence of plurality of code combinations transferred in each frame and also in terms of modulation of plurality of code combination sequences in frame. As still another alternative information is encoded in step with transmission time of code combination in each frame segment relative to its associated primary code .
