SUBSTANCE: apparatus for imparting predetermined mechanical properties to rolled metallic band includes unwinding and winding machines, unit for plastic deformation of band in the form of mutually joined combs with teeth of one comb introduced in recesses of another comb in such a way that depth of introducing of comb teeth lowers as band approaches outlet of combs. EFFECT: uniform distribution of mechanical properties along width and length of band, simplified design, lowered metal consumption of skin pass rolling aggregate. 1 dwg
