SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring and registering output parameters and controlling actions providing for supporting of output parameters within set norms; preliminarily setting values of output parameters and controlling actions in accordance with normal values; forming "output parameter-controlling actions" pairs of states; setting qualitative dependence values in "normal value", "above normal value" or "below normal value" categories and sequence of variations in controlling actions required for bringing output parameters to normal value; providing stepped controlling, with deviations of output parameters from normal value being fixed at each step with logical feature of "above normal value" or "below normal value"; determining controlling actions and controlling action deviation sign, which are required for bringing output parameters to normal values by sequential analyzing of output parameter deviations upon changing of controlling actions for bringing furnace to subsequent state, provided that all output parameters are brought to normal values.
