BREAKER-AND-SCUTCHER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: breaker-and-scutcher has scutching section with drums 1, whose longitudinal axes are extending in single horizontal plane, and at least two similar conveyors 2 and 3 positioned in parallel with one another and equipped with flattening rolls 4,5 and breaking rolls 6,7 arranged in symmetry with respect to longitudinal-vertical plane of symmetry of scutching section, and pressing roll 12 positioned for alternating movement to lower adjoining breaking rolls 6 and 7. Drives 10 and 11 of conveyors 2 and 3 are kinematically connected to synchronization unit 13 to provide for synchronized operation of said conveyors. Breaker-and-scutcher is adapted for primary processing of bast-fibers, preferably flax. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
