Abstract RU 2209922 C1

FIELD: mining industry, drilling of holes with sampling of sealed core. SUBSTANCE: core and gas sampler includes body to which drill bit and substitute are joined. Shaped box is placed in axial conduit of substitute. Mutually alternating protrusions and grooves forming splined joint are made on internal surface of substitute and on opposite external surface of shaped box. enclosure and separable core receiver are installed inside body. Core receiver includes core-receiving tube with upper and lower sealing units and is mounted for reciprocating motion relative to enclosure, base and guide bushing. Base and guide bushing are placed outside of core receiving tube. Core receiving tube houses core catcher and piston that travels in axial direction with reference to core receiving tube. Casing with non-return valve is installed in axial conduit of piston. Upper end of core receiving tube is connected to stepped bushing possessing axial conduit. Interacting piston with non-return valve and stepped bushing form upper sealing unit. Lower sealing unit comprises upper and lower seats and rotary ball locking element with through axial duct positioned in axial conduit of base. Locking element has form of ball with two ball segments cut off from opposite sides. Limiting fingers are mounted on planes of cut. Through shaped grooves are made to accommodate fingers in base and guide bushing. Maximum outer diameter of core receiving tube is less than inner diameter of through axial duct in ball locking element.
