In proposed exhaust muffler of internal combustion engine exhaust system, inlet and outlet branch pipes are arranged close to one of end face walls of housing, and horizontal partition is secured between branch pipes inside housing, forming slot to pass gas between horizontal partition and end face wall of housing opposite to branch pipes. EFFECT: reduced metal usage of muffler, compact design, decreased overall dimension of power plant with internal combustion engine. 2 dwg
