FIELD: wind-power engineering; windmill-electric power units. SUBSTANCE: windmill-electric power unit that incorporates provision for simple automatic control of windwheel speed within comprehensive range of air flow velocities and for easy adjustment to desired wind load has tower that mounts revolving head with reduction unit coupled with power generator shaft and horizontal shaft that carries two windwheels unequally spaced from axis of head revolution and provided with radial blades secured on spindles; windwheel spaced at greater distance functions to set device against wind apart from performing power function; tower also mounts speed governor. Novelty is that windwheels have center boss and rim perforated over circumference which are joined together by means of spokes; blade spindles secured in boss and in thrust bearings are passed through bushings mounted in perforation holes; windwheel speed governor is, essentially, set of flexible members in the form of cylindrical springs fastened on one end to blades and on other, to rim symmetrically relative to axis of revolution of each blade; in addition blade turn limiters in the form of pin-type stops are installed in rim holes.
