FIELD: electrical and electromechanical engineering; valve-type machines. SUBSTANCE: electrical machine is characterized in that its bearing housing is disposed in end rings which enables reducing number of intermediate parts imparting their error in total rotor-to-stator air gap, that is, end shield is excluded from chain of error-causing components. End rings are joined to side shields which may accommodate axial toothed plates. Ends of toothed plates of proposed machine are supported by cylindrical surface of radial slits provided outside of end rings. EFFECT: improved power characteristics due to reduced air gap; facilitated manufacture of electrical machine. 9 cl, 4 dwg
