FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: patient is taught for speech self-regulation due to its connection with successive stimulation of fingers in patient's leading hand. At first, speech synchronization is taught by tactile stimulation of fingers in leading hand, moreover, one should increase duration and degree of stimulation right at the beginning of syntagma. Moreover, patient is taught to associate the state of inner calmness with fingers' stimulation, then such state should be associated with idiomotor act induced consciously by imagining real movement. Then tactile stimulations are substituted for those coming from idiomotor act. In future, developed and automatized habit should be used under conditions of conventional communication. It is possible to return to tactile stimulations of fingers in patient's leading hand in case of severe stresses and chronic diseases. EFFECT: higher efficiency in excluding stuttering relapses.
