FIELD: fire fighting measures. SUBSTANCE: method includes subdivision of forest plantation into isolated from one another blocks 250-300 m long and with width equaling width of plantation, usually 10-60 m. Cut-through in transverse direction are intervals 10 m wide. Height of trees located at interval ends are reduced to 2.5-3 m. Protective fire-proof baffles are formed by moistening of tree trunks and branches with incombustible solution of the following composition, %: water 90; common clay 9; synthetic glue 1. Forest plantation edges and intervals between blocks are cultivated by mechanisms with introduction of herbicides into soil. EFFECT: higher efficiency of fire control in line forest plantations. 1 dwg
