SUBSTANCE: protective fire bands are formed by linear planting poplar seedlings bordering the protected object, which have rows, up to 40 rows in the strip. In this case, a longitudinal gap is created in the middle of the strip with a device of a mineralized strip along it, the width of which is not less than 5 m. The distance between the seats in the row is 1.0-1.5 m, and the distance between rows of 3-4 m.
EFFECT: increasing the effectiveness of protective fire bands in grass-roots and mountain fires.
