FIELD: production of flocculants; purification of wines, juices and drinks; preparation of potable water; treatment of sewage contaminated with petroleum products, ions of heavy metals and non- ferrous metals and suspended particles. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes modification of clay mineral by derivatives of alkaline hydrolysis- acrylamide copolymers in presence of alkaline reagent. Alkaline reagent is introduced in clay mineral in the amount of 2.0-5.0% and acrylamide copolymer is introduced in the amount of 0.001-0.1% of mass of clay mineral.
