FIELD: machine tool manufacture, namely machine tools for turning locomotive wheel pairs without wheeling out. SUBSTANCE: support includes base, lengthwise and crosswise carriages with screw and cam drive members. In order to enhance accuracy support is provided with additional cam drive unit. Both cam drive units have cams mounted in the same shaft and toothed-rack transmissions kinematically joined with screw drive members of lengthwise and crosswise carriages. Support may include one additional kinematic circuit between screw drive members of lengthwise and crosswise carriages with constant transfer ratio for working cone rolling surface. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and efficiency of working wheel pairs. 1 dwg
