FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology, molecular biology, genetic and protein engineering, insecticides. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fragments of hybrid toxins prepared from crystalline proteins of Bacillus thuringiensis eliciting an insecticide activity. These fragments of hybrid toxins are prepared by a single recombination case and they comprise domain of III CryC or CryA protein at C-terminal end and domain II of Cry protein at N-terminal end. Invention relates also to recombinant DNA encoding indicated fragments of hybrid toxins, to method for control of insects by their treatment with fragments of hybrid toxins or compositions containing these toxins. EFFECT: expanded assortment of effective agents used for control of insects. 12 cl, 5 dwg, 2 tbl
