FIELD: biotechnology, molecular biology, genetic engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed vector of expression of crystalline protein toxin of Bacillus thuringiensis is stable in host cells B. thuringiensis and has DNA of B. thuringiensis mainly. Vector has a region of replication start isolated from plasmid HD73 of B. thuringiensis, selective marker, cloning site, DNA fragment providing gene expression in the taken host, and DNA fragment encoding crystalline protein toxin of B. thuringiensis. This vector inserted in strains of B. thuringiensis containing resident plasmids does not displace these plasmids from the transformed strain. An exogeneous crystalline protein toxin of B. thuringiensis is expressed in the transformed strains.
