FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, particularly to an isolated polypeptide, having insecticidal activity, nucleic acid coding same, as well as to a DNA structure containing said nucleic acid. Invention also relates to a transgenic plant, resistant to action of insects of Lepidoptera group, as well as to a cell of a vegetable plant or corn. Also disclosed is a method of reducing population of Lepidoptera insects using said polypeptide.
EFFECT: invention provides effective control of insects of Lepidoptera group.
