FIELD: aluminum-based alloy metallurgy for weld-fabricated construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to based-based alloys useful as constructional materials for airspace and other industrial products. Alloy is particularly effective as filler material for production of weld-fabricated construction from high strength based-based alloys of formula Al-Zn-Mg-Cu. Claimed alloy and product contain (mass.%): magnesium 4.0-6.5; zirconium 0.04-0.15; scandium 0.2-0.3; beryllium 0.0001-0.01; boron 0.001-0.01; silver 0.1-0.5; at least two elements from group, containing yttrium, titanium, hafnium, vanadium, 0.01-0.4; and balance: based. Based-based alloy exhibits reduced hot-cracking tendency, excellent strength, ductility and impact resistance. Said alloy used as the mentioned above filler material makes it possible to improve crack resistance, strength, ductility and impact resistance of welded connection.
EFFECT: aluminum-based alloy of improved physical characteristics.
