FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for killing the speed and stopping of movable objects. Proposed pneumatic shock absorber contains cylindrical housing with bottom and cover and spring-loaded piston with hollow rod arranged in housing. Plunger with ring groove and through axial hole is installed in rod under spring. Check valve is fitted in through axial hole. Bell-crank is installed on piston from side of rod space. Bell-crank engages by one end with housing cover and by other end, through hole in rod wall, with plunger. hole in housing cover accommodates air filter, and bottom of housing in made in form of cup with flange over edge forming, together with housing, ring pocket for spring. EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of shock absorber. 2 cl, 1 dwg
