BAG HANDLE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: traveling articles. SUBSTANCE: handle is made rigid and is composed of elongated tubular body with longitudinal slot asymmetrically arranged with respect to plane of handle in upper part of handle body wall. Handle body is extending parallel to body of lower rod, which is longer than handle body. Handle is further equipped with two side rods and two additional rods adapted for rigid joining of lower rod ends to handle body ends. Belts are adapted for fixed attachment of rigid handle to bag wall and embracing lower rod parts disposed between lower ends of side and additional rods. Bag has another handle made flexible and loop-shaped, which is to be inserted with its middle portion through longitudinal slot in handle body into cavity thereof. Handle of such construction allows traveling or household bag to be carried comfortably and reliably even in case belts and loop-shaped second handle are rather short. Moreover, loop-shaped handle is completely prevented from disengagement with rigid handle when loop-shaped handle is laid on bag placed onto support.
