FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed clamping device can be used, where necessary, in protective devices preventing unauthorized getting into objects under protection. Said clamping device employs length of cable with provision of wedging action being used as protective device. One end of cable length is passed through hole in housing, being fixed by means of spring-loaded clamping member. Tubular member is rigidly secured in housing from side of outlet part of through hole. Part of tubular member projects from housing outside. Places for cutting of tubular member together with fitted-in cable length at authorized opening are marked on outer surface of tubular member. Place for application of sealing information is provided on outer surface of tubular member separated from its part remaining in housing. EFFECT: improved convenience in operation. 4 cl, 5 dwg
