FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in horizontal gun laying mechanisms. Proposed gear train with crossing shafts contains housing 1, shaft 2 with gear member 3 fitted at one side in spherical bearing 4 installed in housing 1, and at other side, in bearing unit 5 secured in support 6 installed for movement in guide member 7 installed in housing 1. Said mechanism includes also hold-down screw 9 to press support 6 to guide member 7 and hold-down screw 10 to press gear member 3 to other gear member 8 engaging with gear member 3. Screw 9 and 10 engage with support 6. bearing unit 5 has at least one radial-thrust bearing 11, and guide member 7 is installed for self-alignment. EFFECT: increased load capacity of gear train. 1 dwg
