FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording gas discharge structures around the same part of human skin area under study through polymer film and without it. Each of the structures is transformed into digital code. Quantitative parameters of luminescence structures are determined reflecting two-dimensional geometrical characteristics of the gas discharge luminescence structures. The parameter set is displayed as a point in multi-dimensional parameter space. Human anxiousness level is determined from the distances between the points built for structures created with and without film. The smaller is the distance, the lower is the anxiousness level. Polyethylene or polypropylene or polyvinyl chloride or polystyrene film is useable as the polymer film. Polymer film thickness is 10 to 600 mcm large. To increase information capacity in determining anxiousness level, quantitative parameters of luminescence structures expressing their brightness, spectral properties are to be additionally determined and quantitative parameters of luminescence structures showing their fractal properties are to be determined.
