FIELD: shipbuilding; building high-speed planing vessels. SUBSTANCE: proposed vessel has hull with hard-chine lines, deadrise bottom and transom stern. Bottom of hull is provided with midship and aft studs in midship area and in stern; lower deadrise surface of each stud forms acute angle with hull bottom in way of motion. Width of studs is lesser than width of hull measured between hard chines and width of midship stud is lesser than width of aft stud. It is good practice to make studs rotatable in center plane relative to articulation connecting the bottom and front portion of stud which is provided with drive for turning and locking it in required position. Studs may be provided with shock-absorbers. Breakwater ski shall be mounted in fore portion of vessel; width of this ski is lesser than width of midship stud. EFFECT: reduced width of wetted surface; enhanced stability in angle of trim; reduced resistance and overloads. 5 cl, 7 dwg
