FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: step launch contains hull 1 with hard-chine lines, transom counter 2 and deadrise bottom 3 where transverse step 4 is made. In afterstep part, skeg 5 is made with water intake opening 6 of water-jet propeller 7 on its bottom surface which is smooth continuation of bottom 3 surface before step 4. All along the keel skeg 5 its bottom surface has deadrise with angle equal to or less than deadrise angle in the area of bottom 3 surface before step 4.
EFFECT: better navigability of the launch due to lowering impact loads in afterbody when travelling on intensive rise and fall of waves, improvement of propulsive properties due to creation of additional dynamical pressure at inlet into intake opening.
