FIELD: devices designed for high-degree sorting-out of charged particles. SUBSTANCE: proposed method for feeding hyperbolic mass spectrometer includes introduction of low random fluctuations of following variables in main signal of mass spectrometer both separately and in combination: constant component, high-frequency voltage amplitude, and on-off time ratio for pulse signal.
