FIELD: cleaning liquids from dissolved and suspended agents; electric power engineering; chemical, food-processing and other industries; public services. SUBSTANCE: proposed pressure filter includes cylindrical housing with elliptical bottoms, drainage bottoms with drainage caps and grain filling placed between drainage bottoms; filter is also provided with rods mounted in holes of drainage bottoms and assembled from bars, working nuts, washers, coupling, lock nuts and gaskets. Reduced usage of metal in filter is attained through distribution of load between loaded and unloaded drainage bottoms due to availability of mechanical coupling between them performed by means of rods in way of medium passed through filter. Rods perform function of mechanical coupling between drainage bottoms due to availability of bars, working nuts and coupling. Low cost of filter is attained due to manufacture of filter parts from cheat carbon steel with anticorrosive coat on inner surface. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; low cost; reduced usage of metal. 2 dwg
