FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: pressure filter contains casing filled with filtration agent, branch pipes feeding mixture to be filtered and pipes discharging purified water. Casing is made as vertically oriented cylinder shell with open top part. Drain manifold is located at the casing wall. Feeding manifold is on the wall and/or bottom of casing. Inside casing a guide is coaxially installed; it has floating piston equipped with bypass pipes and it is capable of moving in vertical plane along the guide. Guide is made in form of hollow tube element with orifices and fixing arm in upper part, the bottom end being detachably fixed in axial bearing and communicating with compressed air source. Fixing arm has filter element installed and filtration agent is located between floating piston and guide fixing arm.
EFFECT: increase of filtered mixture purification efficiency with regard to oil products and other contaminants.
