FIELD: catalysts for cleaning gaseous emissions from toxic admixtures, from carbon oxide in particular; chemical industry; power engineering; mechanical engineering and automobile industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed catalyst contains the following components, mass-%: chromium oxide, 41.0-58.0; ferric oxide, 25.0- 31.0; zinc oxide, 16.5-27.5; silicon oxide, 0.3-04 and cobalt oxide, 0.1- 0.2. Advantage of proposed catalyst as compared with prototypes is its higher activity, lower oxidation temperature of carbon oxide at high volume speed, wide temperature range and economical efficiency.
