FIELD: explosives. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to emulsion explosives used in mining industry, more particularly to sensitizing microspheres contained in explosives. Manufacturing the latter involves separation of hollow spheres formed upon combustion of coal fines and whose shells are composed of aluminosilicate from other coal combustion products, mixing the spheres with 1-8 wt % of boric acid, and heating the mixture to 200-500 C. EFFECT: stabilized detonation in charges when exploded on open surface and prolonged explosive properties on storage. 1 tbl
