FIELD: medicine, light industry. SUBSTANCE: facility establishing compression properties of articles made of elastic materials can be employed to check stability of exerted pressure while conducting medical-prophylactic and rehabilitation measures in medicine, to determine compression properties of textile cloth in light industry, to test individual protection means and their elements produced from elastic materials. Facility has source of air supply-turbine compressor, air line, converter of air pressure in air line to pressure of compression unit-petal valve, measurement unit-solid pressure transducer of capacitive type and microprocessor with display. Turbine compressor is connected to petal valve of air line through damping vessel. Petal valve presents flat rubber vessel with two petals and outlet skit. Facility makes it possible to increase efficiency of measurement of compression exerted by means produced from elastic materials on human body thanks to automatization of measurement process which leads to reduced time and raised accuracy of measurements, operational convenience and easy access.
