FIELD: powder metallurgy, particularly, methods of production of bearing metallofluoroplastic materials; applicable in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering and other industries in manufacture of friction units. SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary treatment of steel sheets, scorching of porous layer in form of bronze-brass netting, and filling of pores with composite material based on fluoroplastic. Preliminary treatment is carried out by bronzing with help of diffusion impregnation, scorching of bronze-brass netting in carbon fill, filling of cells of scorched netting by pressing-in of nonoriented fluoroplastic film with help of hydraulic press and excluded use of deficient aqueous suspension of fluoroplastic.
